Dr. Ford earned numerous degrees including a Doctorate of Theology and a Masters of Education Degree from the Joseph Cooper Theological University; a Doctorate of Divinity from the New World Bible Institute of Haiti, Missouri; and a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University of Hayward, California.
In 2008, Dr. Ford was called to New Life Missionary Baptist Church. Dr. Ford has continued to devote his life to the Lord Jesus Christ, teaching, preaching and witnessing for Him until retiring as Pastor of New Life Missionary Baptist Church in December 2015. Dr. Ford continues to serve the Lord by teaching/preaching an unadulterated Gospel and serves as an administrator of the Joseph Cooper Theological University, which his wife Dr. Dotti Ford is currently serving as President.
Associate Pastor & Evangelist, Rev. Dr. Dottie Ford
Dr. Dottie B. Ford, was ordained by a Council of Christian Churches Association in 1986. She received both a Bachelor and Master of Theology at the New World Bible Institute in Missouri, and a Doctorate of Divinity from Joseph Cooper Theological University in Hayward, California. She has served as Co-assistant Pastor; an Intermediate Sunday School Teacher; Minister of Music, and Foreign Mission Minister.
Evangelist Yuvett Burnell

Rev. Dr. Clarence Davis,
Associate Pastor
Yuvett Burnelll was introduced to the Lord at an early age by her parents. She was baptized and dedicated her life to Walking with God. She sang in the choirs and served as an usher throughout High School.
Yuvett was part of the Young People's Christian Organization (Y.P.C.O.). This group of young people went out to minister at nursing homes, youth conferences and various church outreach programs, spreading the good news of Christ and his love through song and worship. During in her walk with the Lord, she served in the Young Adult program, as Assistant Treasurer, and also taught Sunday School. Her passion for working with youth also led her to pursue her bachelor's degree and work in Social Services. While in college her mentor--a Probation Officer--allowed her to run group sessions with teenagers. These sessions gave her the opportunity to speak with young people about Jesus.
In 2019, Yuvett completed her Master’s Degree in Religious Studies, with a focus on Religious Education, and joined the Gospel Ministry here at New Life on July 30, 2023.
During her Christian journey, the Lord has opened doors in all areas of her life, and Yuvett is always willing to proclaim the good news of Christ.
